Celebration Time: The Kodiak Is Flying the PNG Skies

First Flight into Simbari Papua New Guinea

You will love this news!  December 1, the NTM Aviation's first Kodiak in Papua New Guinea "took to the skies with its first missionary passengers and cargo onboard," says pilot Josh Verdonck.  "In the first week of operations we have transported over 20 missionaries, hauled over 2500 lbs of cargo and landed at 7 different locations!"

"The missionaries were amazed with how much cargo and how many passengers it can carry while still being able to land on some of the tougher strips,"  says pilot Brent Haberchak.

You can be amazed at God's provision along with the missionaries!  God has used your gifts and prayers to bring the Kodiak to its place of service in Papua New Guinea.  This long-awaited day reflects "hundreds of thousands of man-hours and millions of dollars in donations," says Josh.

"[The Kodiak] truly will be a blessing for our bush folks.  We are thrilled to be able to meet their needs more efficiently and cost effectively with this new plane," say the Haberchaks.

Church planting teams are thrilled too.  They'll be depending on the Kodiak for all their supplies for the next ten to twenty years while they lead a church to maturity.  And two more Kodiaks will soon be on their way to PNG to make sure that no missionaries lack for transportation as they take the Gospel to those who need to hear it.

Along with the tribal church planting teams, we thank you for the key role you play in supporting mission aviation as you pray and give.
