Kodiak dedicated in ceremony

The first of 14 Kodiak airplanes that New Tribes Mission has ordered was dedicated at a ceremony in Sanford, Florida, on Monday.

Six members of NTM Aviation attended the celebration, answering questions that were asked by the crowd. The men spent the previous week sharing about NTM and the Kodiak at the Sun ’n Fun air show in Lakeland, Florida, the second largest fly-in air show in the USA.

The NTM Aviation team is working out the arrangements and processing the paperwork for flying the Kodiak to the Asia-Pacific region, hopefully this summer. The plane will be a valuable tool in reaching the Buru and Taliabo people as well as serving in other ways.

The dedication ceremony was a time of thanking and praising God for His abundant provision and of praying that God will use this Kodiak, and those that follow, to take His Word to the many tribes who still need to hear the message of salvation.

Please pray that all the arrangements, paperwork and travel plans will soon be in order and for a safe journey.
