Update on Jon and Adie Leedahl

Jon and Adie Leedahl and Family

Following Jon's surgery yesterday, Cam Leedahl, Jon's mother reports, " Thank you for your prayers! Jon's knee surgery went well today. Two ligaments were replaced. One ligament was replaced with his hamstring, the other ligament was replaced with a combination of his hamstring and a synthetic material. The third ligament was repaired. His leg will be kept immobile for two weeks. The skin graft on his stump is steadily healing, but still has a long ways to go."

A few hours later a new cast was put on to protect and immobilize his foot.  Because of all the manipulation, the new cast and replacing the leg brace, Jon is in quite a bit of pain.   Please pray that he will have relief from pain. "Mail is always a bright spot in the day. Jon appreciates the encouraging cards and notes. Their value to Jon and Adie cannot be overestimated.  And so another day ends. Another day closer to Jon walking again. Another day in which we praise God for His infinite love and care. And in the morning ... " "Let the morning bring me word of Your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in You. Show me the way I should go, for to You I lift up my soul." Psalm 143:8"
