Brazil 206 Moves Forward!

Charlie and Ruth Patton

Good news! You remember just a few weeks ago we asked you to pray for the Cessna 206 that had just landed in Brazil. Well, you'll be glad to hear that earlier this week, the plane received the paperwork to fly out of the place where it had been sitting since last November. With this authorization in place, NTM Aviation pilot Charlie Patton headed there to prepare the plane. Friday, January 30, he will begin the flight to the cities where customs and importation will take place. Bruno Siquiera, a young pilot friend, will join Charlie for some of the long journey over vast Brazilian jungles. How can you help? You can join all of us at NTM Aviation in praying!

  • For safety in flight. You know how huge Brazil is!
  • For safe and speedy delivery of paperwork being mailed to Brazil.
  • For a seamless transition through customs.
  • For a smooth importation process, specifically that the Brazilian aviation administration will register and certify the plane as airworthy.
  • For Charlie (pilot) & Ruth Patton as well as Joel (mechanic) and Janelle Rich to press on, trusting God to get this plane to its place of service.

Pilot's wife Ruth Patton and the whole Brazil team send their thanks to you who have helped make this possible. "We are confident," writes Ruth, "that this tool will be a huge blessing and help here, saving many hours of bodily 'wear and tear' and time lost in travel for missionaries working in some of the most remote areas of Brazil." Thank you so much for remembering these requests before God on behalf of our Brazil team.
