Several New Tribes Mission projects are almost completely funded. Would you like to help push them over the top?

Less than $1,500 urgently needed

Developing African missionaries is a goal of NTM leaders in West Africa. They have identified five mature believers who desire to receive training in cross-cultural church planting. While these five may not all become church-planters, they are in positions to lead others to become church planters or otherwise assist church planters. So training these first five is an important step in helping African churches partner in the Great Commission.

New Tribes Mission will bring in experienced trainers and gather these five men and women for a short, intensive course. NTM West Africa is providing the majority of the funds needed to train these five.

Working alongside African churches and African missionaries to reach Africa will make the efforts of missionaries from overseas more effective, and better exemplify the members of the body of Christ working together to glorify His name. Your gifts to this project help make this possible; funds are needed for February 2013. Give to this project.

The need for helicopters in overseas flight programs is increasing as missionaries penetrate more remote areas. This has created an immediate need for a helicopter to train and evaluate pilots for ministry overseas. NTM Aviation needs to train pilots so the specific needs of pilots flying into remote tribal areas can be addressed. A used Robinson R-44 is available for purchase.

Helicopters allow missionaries to reach the most remote people in the world. You can help to finally bring the light of Gospel to the ends of the earth. Give to this project.

Less than $10,000 needed

The first NTM radio station in Bolivia went on the air to the Chimane people in 2001. Many people are unable to read, so radio is a powerful tool for spreading God's Word. A station 80 miles north extended the listening area.

The building at the new location houses the generator, fuel room, work area and a 10-foot-by-10-foot office for the transmitter, mixer board, CD players and a chair. As plans are made to serve even more people, in part through live programs for each of the area's four language groups -- Chimane, Trinitario, Yura and Spanish -- the space is increasingly inadequate. A new 30-foot-by-30-foot building is needed.

Giving to this project will expand the reach of the Gospel among far-flung people who speak four different languages -- people who otherwise may have no opportunity to know Jesus. Give to this project.

Many remote tribal areas are inaccessible except by airplane. In those areas, there is often little or no access to aviation gas. And the aircraft that run on readily available Jet A fuel are too large to efficiently serve many missionary teams.

The solution is to re-equip light aircraft such as the Cessna 182 with newly developed diesel engines that burn Jet A fuel.

Your investment in this project will allow missionary pilots to continue to efficiently serve remote church planting missionaries. Give to this project.
