Training center graduates eager to reach

A dozen new missionaries are graduating from NTM's Missionary Training Center on Wednesday, bound for support ministries around the world.

"We are so thankful for the things we have been taught here," wrote Joel and Angela Ketcham, who are among the graduates. "The training here opened our eyes to the daily struggles and blessings a missionary faces on the field. We've also been taught ways to deal with these things … and even more importantly, reminded to keep our focus on Christ and to trust in Him."

Joel and Angela plan to leave for Brazil this summer, and serve as dorm parents at a school for missionaries' children.

"The atmosphere here was one of excitement and dedication to the work of planting tribal churches," wrote Clif and Kari Huntting, another couple who will graduate. "Our passion and vision for reaching remote people groups was strengthened, and we found a teaching staff full of experience to bring to the table."

After graduation, Clif and Kari will move on to the NTM Aviation center in Arizona for training in bush flying and in maintaining the type of aircraft NTM Aviation uses.

They also plan to build their team of prayer and financial supporters before going to the Asia-Pacific region or Latin America by 2011.
