Carried in God's Hands All the Way to PNG

Brian Burnham (Aircraft Maintenance Manager) and Gifsen Mambu (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer) open the lock on the container carrying the R66 helicopter.

It has arrived!  The first Robinson R66 helicopter for Papua New Guinea has arrived at the Ethnos360 Aviation hangar in Goroka, PNG.  Celebrate God’s faithfulness with us!

It seems like just a few days ago that the R66 arrived in the port in PNG (January 23) and had to wait to clear customs before making the land journey by truck to the hangar in Goroka.

And before we knew it, we heard that it had arrived in Goroka!  Unbelievable!  It feels like God just picked it up in His hands on October 25th, 2021, in McNeal, AZ and carried it right to the hangar in Goroka, PNG.

Thank you for trusting God with us for this journey.  So much could have gone wrong.  It could have been stuck in the backlog of container ships, damaged during loading, tampered with during the journey, mired in paperwork, dropped during unloading, collided into during the road trip to Goroka.

But God, in HIs will, desired for it to arrive in His time, in perfect condition.

The newly arrived R66, still in its “shrink wrap,” sits between a Kodiak and the LongRanger, awaiting reassembly.

Please pray for the team at the Ethnos360 Aviation hangar as they reassemble the R66 and do test flights. Pray for sharp eyes and meticulous work.  Pray that God will show favor in preparing this helicopter for many years of faithful service for church planting teams.

Thank you for your part in seeing this project to fruition so that our 43-year-old LongRanger can be replaced and even surpassed in service to unreached people groups.

R66 #2 should arrive in McNeal, AZ, in August.  Praise God with us that donations for R66 #3 continue to come in.
