Missionary Airplane Pilot/Mechanic

Commercial Pilot Certificate, Instrument Rating, 300 hours PIC, flight instructor rating recommended. In addition, the pilot/mechanic will need a mechanic certificate (A&P, AME or ICAO equivalent) and one year of general aviation maintenance experience. Being both a pilot and mechanic is preferred for the greatest opportunities for service. The curriculum at Ethnos360 Aviation in McNeal, AZ, will provide advanced STOL training on short runways in mountain environments using fixed-wing aircraft, as well as type-specific training in a Kodiak simulator. It also provides specific Kodiak maintenance training.
We suggest that pilot/mechanic candidates begin flight training before age 30.
