Kodiak #2 Journey Begins!!

God who stills the winds and the waves will make a way! It looks like the winds across the Pacific are turning favorable for N111KQ, NTM Aviation's 2nd Kodiak for Papua New Guinea, to start its journey on Saturday, February 13 at midnight.
Pray for Leon Stoman, the pilot from the ferrying company, who will fly the plane. After a brief stop today at NTM Aviation headquarters in McNeal, AZ, he flew on to California. "I plan to leave California at midnight tonight because the winds are favorable, and if I wait I will miss the moment and have to wait perhaps two more weeks," commented Leon, who has been flying for 25 years.
Meanwhile, the 2nd R44 helicopter bound for the Philippines will need favorable shipping lanes as it makes its way by sea. The crew at our NTM Aviation headquarters packed it into a container Friday, February 5, and it was trailered to the port in Long Beach, CA. From there, it will be put on a ship for the trans-Pacific journey.
